Delete your Automonie account

This page is for Automonie, the personal finance app by Automonie (web, Android and the Play Store app). You can delete your account and its data at any time.

In the app

1. Android app: open Profile, then Settings, then Delete account.
2. Web app (app.automonie.com): open Settings and choose Delete my account.

Deleting in the app is immediate and asks for your password. You may want to export your data first: Export my data on the web, or Export transactions on Android, both in Settings.

Without the app

Can't sign in, or signed up with Google? Ask here. We email a confirmation link to the address on the account, and nothing is deleted until you open that link. The link works for 24 hours.

What we delete

• Your profile: name, email, phone number and settings.
• Your transactions, imported alerts and statements, budgets, goals, bills, subscriptions, accounts, people and contacts, notifications and correction history.
• Your place on the waitlist and newsletter, if you joined.

We delete this straight away when you confirm. Copies in our routine backups are overwritten within 90 days.

What we keep

• Payment records (plan payments, and airtime and bill purchases) for as long as tax and accounting law requires, up to six years.
• Your reason for leaving, if you give one, stored without your email or name.
